Pakistan hosted its first ever fashion week in the city of Karachi against a backdrop of heavy security. This hugely successful four day event was organized by Fashion Pakistan and featured of Pakistan's most talented designers. Behind the scenes the success of the event was in no small way the result of the efforts of Wow Factor, Productions 021 and SAB's.

Designers presented a mix of clothes, some drawing on traditional Pakistani outfits and tribal motifs, others that had little or no sign of traditional aesthetics.
